Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will visit the House of Representatives on Saturday, Nov. 4.
This was confirmed by the House of Representatives in a media advisory Tuesday, Oct. 31.
For this purpose, the lower chamber will hold a special joint session Saturday at 10 a.m.
The holding of a special joint session was first bared in a memorandum issued by House Secretary General Reginald Velasco dated Oct. 25, 2023. House employees were advised of the security preparations ahead of the special session through the memorandum.

However, it didn't mention anything about the Japanese leader's visit.
The special session will be held two days before the schedule resumption of sessions in Congress on Monday Nov. 6. Congress has been on recess since Sept. 28.
Speaker Martin Romualdez heads the 300-plus strong House of Representatives.
