DOLE fetes outstanding PESOs, job placement offices

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) recognized 10 Public Employment Service Offices (PESO) and job placement offices for being its frontline partners in promoting productive employment on the local level during the 23rd National PESO Congress from October 25 to 27 in Palo, Leyte.

Among the provincial PESO winners were PESO Bataan for the first-class category, PESO Lanao del Norte for the second-class province category, and PESO Aurora for the third to fifth-class province category.

DOLE Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma led the awarding ceremony with DOLE Undersecretary Carmela I. Torres and PESO Managers Association of the Philippines National President and Pampanga PESO Manager Luningning Y. Vergara.
