The Cool Smashers bounced back from a second-set hiccup and regained their bearings against the resilient Foxies to register their fourth straight victory in as many outings for the solo lead.

Michele Gumabao erupted for 20 points built on 18 kills and two blocks while Jema Galanza pumped in 15 attacks and two aces to finish with 18 points for Creamline, which also took advantage of Farm Fresh’s erratic plays.

As expected, the Cool Smashers leaned on their explosive offense by unloading 67 attacks including a combined 33 kills from Gumabao and Galanza.

They also orchestrated a solid defense after making seven blocks.

Trisha Tubu and Kate Santiago tried to lift the Foxies especially after leveling the match after two sets, but the Cool Smashers were quick to adjust on their game and directed the pace in the next two frames.

Tubu and Santiago finished with 19 and 15 points, respectively, as Farm Fresh plummeted to a fifth straight defeat.
