Venerable topped the podium by listing 9.280 points ahead of South Korean Lee Namhum (9.200) and Singaporean Darren Yap (9.100), who settled for silver and bronze, respectively.

He joined Rhichein Yosorez and Alyssa Mallari of muay thai, and jiu-jitsu star Kaila Napolis as Combat Games winners for Team Philippines, which also finished the meet with five silver and five bronze medals. 

Napolis gave the first gold for the Philippines, beating French Anael Pannetier, 2-0, in the women’s -52kgs Ne-Waza finals. 

Yosorez and Mallari followed up by defeating fellow Filipinos Phillip Delarmino and Ariel Lampacan in mixed forms event.

Silver medalists were Agatha Wong (wushu), Islay Erika Bomogao (women’s wai kru), and Clemente Tabugara (men’s sanda).

Jones Inso (men's wushu), Maria Ratcliff (women’s grappling), Fierre Afan (men’s grappling), Justine Macario (mixed pair poomsae) and Juvenile Crisostomo (taekwondo) were bronze medalists.
