Man suffers heart attack while voting in BSKE

LEGAZPI CITY, Albay – A 31-year-old man died while voting in the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE) in Baao, Camarines Sur on Monday, October 30.

Police Lt. Col. Malu Calubaquib identified the victim as Richard Borela, a resident of Barangay Buluang in Baao.

Borela was inside the polling precinct at Buluang Elementary School when he lost consciousness.

He was taken to the Santa Maria Josefa Hospital in Iriga City.

Calubaquib said that doctors tried to revive the victim but he was later declared dead due to cardiac arrest.
