BSKE goes smoothly at Potrero Elementary School in Malabon

Voters of Barangay Potrero in Malabon City lined up early Monday morning, Oct. 30, to cast their votes at the Potrero Elementary School for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

Voters went directly to the official voters list posted on the board; while others had some difficulty in looking for their precincts but they were assisted by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV).
In an interview with Manila Bulletin, some voters said that they cast their votes without any issues or anomalies.

Devie, 22, from Barangay Potrero said that she was happy with her experience to cast her vote smoothly and quickly.
Kristine, 32, from the same barangay, stated that she had some difficulty in looking for her name and precinct number, but she was immediately helped by the PPRCV volunteers.

Meanwhile, senior citizens, pregnant women, and persons with disability (PWD) who were struggling in climbing the stairs were allowed to vote at the Emergency Accessible Polling Place (EAPP) located at the quadrangle of the school.

On Friday, Oct. 27, a Commission on Elections (Comelec) official said that there are 165 clustered precincts which accommodate 27, 878 registered voters in Barangay Potrero, Malabon City for the BSKE.
Barangay Potrero has the largest barangay in the city with a total population of 42,311 as of 2020.
