AP.Bren head coach Francis “Duckeyyy” Glindro has plenty of reasons to celebrate on Sunday, Oct. 29, after being inducted to the Hall of Legends and his wards copping the MPL Philippines Season 12 title.

While admitting he cannot fully put into words what he feels, the amiable coach did not forget to credit his players for the achievements and his family who had been very supportive of his goal to guide his players to success.
“Ang hirap i-explain eh kasi we got like two achievements in one day. I mean, my Hall of Legends is actually an effect of my players’ hard work kasi hindi ko naman maa-achieve yun ng solo ako eh,” said Duckeyy during the post-game press conference.
“We’re very thankful na I have these guys with me and you know, along the way that we achieved and won this tournament na kasama ko sila,” he added.
Duckeyy was also grateful to his girlfriend and family and felt he was just lucky to have them behind his back all through thick and thin.
“She was very supportive, very thankful to my family as well, thankful ako na supportive sila sa akin. It feels surreal na I'm very lucky to have that situation around me na sinusuportahan ako especially ang laki ng stigma around gaming and esports,” said the now two-time MPL champion coach.
“Sobrang thankful lang ako this is a very very humbling experience never kong naramdaman yung gantong klaseng saya,” he added.
Duckeyy is the 12th MLBB personality to the MPL Philippines Hall of Legends adding another feather to his already well-decorated hat.
And the AP.Bren coach is no way stopping anytime soon.
“I think it's kind of like nasasamahan din ng kagustuhan ng players na maglaro parang gusto ko silang tulungan to like achieve their dreams. ‘Yun lang siguro yung motivation ko why I'm still here as a coach,” he said.
