Dr. Riza Oben Dormiendo was crowned the first Miss Inner Wheel Club of the Philippines International during a grand coronation at One Shangri-la Place, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City last Oct. 28.

More than 150 candidates from various districts joined the competition. They were narrowed to 20 contestants, then shortlisted to 10 delegates and the final five contestants. The final question-and-answer sealed the fate of the winner.

"It is with great pride and joy that we announce that our Inner Wheel Club of Muntinlupa Filinvest District 383 club President Dr. Riza Oben Dormiendo, was crowned as the first Miss IWCPI 2023 at the Inner Wheel Club of the Philippines Inc. (IWCPI) United Nations Day celebration on Oct. 28, 2023 at the One Shangri-La Place, BGC, Taguig City," organizers said.

With unparalleled elegance, Riza effortlessly channeled her inner Cleopatra from Egypt and captivated the crowd with her unmatched grace, wit, and poise. As soon as her name was announced, the ballroom rapidly filled with cheers and applause, the hallmarks of a great night.

IWCPI National President Sofie Lee graced the event with her NBOT Team, District 383 - Inner Wheel Clubs of the Philippines, Inc. District Chairman Analie Bolinao, and other district and club presidents.

International Inner Wheel (IIW) is one of the world's largest women's service voluntary organizations. IW is active in over 103 countries, with 3,895 clubs and 103,000 members as of Inner Wheel Year (IWY) 2020-2021. The Inner Clubs of the Philippines (IWCPI) has a governing body (National Board), the Board of Trustees, composed of nine officers comprising the EXECOM and nine district chairmen in different districts.

The Inner Wheel Club of Muntinlupa Filinvest (IWCMF) is one of the chartered clubs in District 383. "We congratulate President Dr. Riza Oben Dormiendo for this remarkable feat and wish her more success in the coming months."

"I am Dr. Riza Oben Dormiendo. I am your very first Miss IWCPI 2023. (Innerwheel Clubs of the Philippines International).
