Cloudy skies with rain showers expected due to shear line, LPA, 'amihan' — PAGASA
Most parts of the country will experience cloudy weather with light and scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

Based on its latest weather update issued Monday, Oct. 30, PAGASA said that the shear line is "affecting" the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas.
Moreover, PAGASA said the northeast monsoon or "amihan" is affecting Northern and Central Luzon.
A Low Pressure Area (LPA) inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) is also affecting the country, according to the weather bureau.
As of 3 p.m., PAGASA estimated the Low Pressure Area (LPA) at 735 km east of Virac, Catanduanes.
Due to the shear line or the trough of the LPA, cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in the Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Quezon, and the northern portion of Cebu.
Based on its forecast, PAGASA said that cloudy skies with light rain will prevail in Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora, caused by the northeast monsoon.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain will persist in the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Cagayan Valley, and the rest of Central Luzon due to the "amihan."
For Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA said localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
