Benitez votes in first BSKE as Bacolod mayor

BACOLOD CITY – Mayor Alfredo Abelardo “Albee” Benitez cast his vote in his first barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections as resident here on Monday, October 30.

Benitez, from Victorias City, Negros Occidental, transferred his residency here before the elections in May 2022.

A resident of Barangay Mandalagan, Benitez voted at the Mandalagan Elementary School around 10:30 a.m. He said that he voted without a hitch.

Benitez said that the city government will rally behind the winners in the elections.

He said that they will make sure that their responsibilities in the barangay and city will be fulfilled.

“We will be more active in collaborating with barangay officials especially we have a seal of good local governance,” Benitez added.
