BSKE in Las Piñas generally peaceful

The conduct of Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election (BSKE) in Las Piñas City is generally peaceful, according to the police. 

Qualified voters trooped to various polling precincts and exercised their right to choose their barangay leaders.

Col. Jaime Santos, city police chief, visited the Police Assistance Desk (PAD) where he found the eagerness of residents to cast their votes while waiting for their turn to get inside the polling center.

The police official said the residents actively engaged in the democratic process, hoping for a transparent and accountable governance of next village officials.
