Parañaque emergency local operation center placed on blue alert

The Parañaque City Emergency and Local Operations (ELO) Center was placed on blue alert to monitor the status of Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election (BSKE) in the city.

The ELO center under the supervision of Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office chief Dr. Ted Gonzalez said placing the center under blue alert status was made to give support and information to the Incidents Management Team (IMT) personnel that were deployed to monitor election–related activities.

The ELO center will facilitate actions to support emergencies pertaining to safety, security and peace and order during the conduct of BSKE.

The activation of DRRMO’s IMT was done upon directive of Mayor Eric Olivarez to ensure the peaceful conduct of BSKE.

The ELO center is also conducting monitoring on traffic situation around the city.
