K-pop idol group Super Junior’s Donghae and Eunhyuk, known as D&E, returned to Manila for a one-night only show and said they felt really touched by the fans’ love.
The two held their “DElight Party: 2023 D&E World Tour Fancon” on Sept. 30 at the Araneta Coliseum.
Donghae and Eunhyuk were in the Philippines last July 21 when Super Junior held their Fan Party in Manila in the same venue.

“It’s nice to see you guys. Kamusta kayo? (How are you?) Actually we met you two months ago right here in this venue. I think D&E coming here for a fancon is actually the first time,” said Eunhyuk.
“Your love for us is just passion,” Donghae told those who went to the July show.
“It means that those people who are here with us the last time, it means all of you will join us next time as well?” added Eunhyuk.
Super Junior D&E, a subunit of the boy band which debuted in 2005, started in 2011 with the song “Oppa, Oppa.”
Donghae and Eunhyuk started their set with “Zero” (2021), “B.A.D.” (2020) and “Danger” (2019). They also performed “Sunrise,” “‘Bout You,” “Gloomy,” “Growing Pains,” “Still You” and “Home.”
They continued with “Need U,” “I Wanna Dance,” “Oppa, Oppa,” “Hello Hello,” “Mamacita, “Sorry, Sorry,” “Bonamana” and “Can You Feel It.”
Eunhyuk also tried the “Gento” dance challenge.

Games and written messages from fans
The fancon was a mix of a concert and games. They played the “99-second Challenge.”
Donghae and Eunhyuk also read messages and answered questions written on post-it notes by fans.
“Thank you for inspiring me to do good. I graduated this year,” one fans wrote to Donghae and Eunhyuk.
Eunhyuk told her, “Congratulations on your graduation. Although you graduated from school, you cannot graduate from being an ELF [Ever Lasting Friends, Super Junior’s fan club].”
One fan asked them about Super Junior’s comeback.
“In a little while, Super Junior will be celebrating the 18th anniversary. After a long while, we will be having a special fan meeting in Korea in celebration of the 18th anniversary. Will you guys be coming as well?” said Eunhyuk.
A video made by fans was also shown during the fan meeting, to which Donghae quipped, “Please don’t leave me alone.”

‘Touched’
Donghae and Eunhyuk were overwhelmed by the support of Filipino fans.
“Philippine ELFs, I’m really touched. Salamat po (Thank you),” said Eunhyuk.
Donghae said, “Thank you so much for making us feel touched. By coming here, we really wanted to have a time of fun and memory. We really tried our best to make you think that if you think of us, you want to see us again for a fun performance.”
“But you guys are the ones who gave us a gift so I feel a bit bad. And because of your presence and support, it seems that we can come back to the Philippines more often. We’ll come back with a better album and cooler concerts. Of course, D&E and Super Junior, we will come back here again. And I will never forget this moment,” he added.
Eunhyuk said, “To the Philippine ELFs who joined our Delight Party tonight, thank you so much. We tried our best to go to every corner to have eye contact with everyone here. Thank you so much for welcoming us.”
“We came here two months ago as Super Junior and now we’re here as D&E. In the future, we will try our best, what it may be, we’ll try to come here more often,” he said.
He added, “Regarding the album, we don’t have a specific date. But for all ELFs, we are doing our best continuously for the good appearance and good songs. For all of you guys, please look forward to it and support us.”
