Pateros, Taguig LGUs congratulate student for winning gold medal at Asian Music Games
The Pateros and Taguig local governments congratulated a student for bagging a gold medal in the Asian Music Games held in East Java, Indonesia.
Jabez Krischnen Hemilo, a resident of Pateros and a student at Western Bicutan National High School in Taguig, won first place in the Individual Contest Melodica category in the Asian Music Games, a national and international marching band competition.

“Congratulations to Jabez Krischnen P. Hemilo of Barangay San Roque, Pateros, MM for winning the gold medal (First Place) in Solo Senior Melodical Music Games, held in Jember, Indonesia,” according to the Pateros municipal government.
During the flag ceremony at the Pateros municipal hall on Oct. 2, Hemilo performed his winning piece.
The Taguig City government earlier congratulated Hemilo for his achievement.
“The City of Taguig and Mayor Lani Cayetano would like to congratulate Jabez Krischnen Hemilo for his outstanding victory at the Asian Music Games 2023 in Jember, East Java, Indonesia, held from September 22–24, 2023,” the city government posted on Facebook.
“The Asian Music Games is one of the Asian Marching Band Confederation’s (AMBC) flagship events. AMBC serves as a platform that seeks to highlight the talent, passion, and artistic expression found within Asian marching bands and their ability to captivate audiences with their performances,” it added.
