P102,000 shabu seized in Leyte drug bust

TACLOBAN CITY – Three persons were arrested and a drug den was dismantled in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Matlang, Isabel, Leyte on Monday afternoon, October 2.

The suspects were identified as Hendenbergh Pinili, drug den maintainer; Mizel Ostria, co-maintainer; and Jose Balbero, a visitor.

Seized from them were six sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 15 grams worth P102,000 and various drug paraphernalia.

Suspects face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

They are temporarily detained at the Isabel municipal police station.
