More than P340K worth of shabu seized in Navotas buy-bust

Police arrested a man and confiscated P346,800 worth of alleged shabu in a buy-bust operation in Navotas City on Tuesday, Oct. 3.

The Northern Police District (NPD) identified the suspect as alias “Jerome," 20, a resident of Barangay Tangos South, Navotas City.

The NPD Navotas City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (NCPS-DEU) launched the entrapment operation against the suspects at A. Dela Cruz St., Barangay San Roque, Navotas City at 3:40 a.m.

It said that the suspects were cuffed after a policeman who posed as a buyer purchased P8,000 worth of alleged shabu from the suspect.

The suspects yielded around 51 grams of shabu with a street value of P346,800, and the buy-bust money.

Police said the apprehended suspect and the evidence were turned over to Special Drugs Enforcement Unit Office for inquest proceedings.
