MORE Power started drug testing regular and contractual workers this week in compliance with Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Order No. 2023-5303.
“If anyone is found positive, they will undergo confirmatory drug testing. If still found positive, the employee will undergo due process,” said De Pedro.
Workers from third-party contractors are also covered by the MORE Power drug test.
MORE Power conducted the drug test as anti-drug operations by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-6 have seized millions worth of shabu here and the province of Iloilo.
On September 30, two suspected drug pushers yielded P10.8-million worth of shabu in Estancia.
From September 23 to 24, P6.47-million worth of shabu was seized in three separate anti-drug operations here.
