Man shot dead in Bago City

BACOLOD CITY – A man was shot dead in Purok Riverside, Barangay Napoles, Bago City, Negros Occidental on Sunday, October 1.

Police Lt. Col. Jay Malong, Bago police chief, said the body of the unidentified victim was found beside a motorcycle.

A witness told police that  the victim and a companion were talking before gunshots were heard.

The victim sustained four bullet wounds and was declared dead in a hospital.

Malong said the victim could be a drug personality after a tooter was recovered from him.

Police could not yet tell if the incident is drug-related unless the victim is identified.
