Businessman peddling drugs nabbed

CAMP Marcelo Adduru, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – Police arrested a businessman in a buy-bust operation in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Balzain East here on Monday, October 2.

Seized from the 48-year-old suspect, regarded as a Regional Priority 10, high-value individual, were six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing seven grams and worth P47,600, the buy-bust money, and the boodle money.

Police Brig. Gen. Christopher C. Birung, Police Regional Office-2 director, commended the efforts and hard work of the operatives in the operation.

Birung said that the apprehension of the HVI is a huge feat in the PRO-2's anti-illegal drug campaign.
