UP suspends classes, work in observance of All Saints' Day
The University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) announced suspension of both face-to-face and online classes on Nov. 3 and 4 in observance of the All Saints' Day.

UPD said the heads of the university units may adopt work-from-home setup for their employees, while minimum number of on-site personnel are only advised to handle possible in-person transactions.
Meanwhile, UPD said units that are essential to perform on-site functions include University Health Service, UPD Police, Public Safety and Security Office, Special Services Brigade and Campus Maintenance Office.
Also, UP said work shall be suspended on Oct. 31, while Contract of Service or Job Order peraonnel may shift to work-from-home if deemed "necessary and applicable."
UP said the Unit Heads in Constituent Universities tasked in health services, security and police, communications, waste management and the same shall coordinate with their workers maintaing "flexibility" and "understanding." (Lizst Torres Abello)
