It added that support units will be activated to conduct police presence activities and provide necessary public assistance in all areas of Eastern Metro Manila.
Authorities will prioritize monitoring the schools in the area, which will be used as polling precincts during the election period, to ensure the safety and security of the election and the public.
It is also to prevent illegal activities that can cause danger to the people who will cast their votes.
EPD chief Brig. Gen. Wilson Asueta said that they want to have a fair and clean conduct of the BSK elections this year.
"Ang aming Kapulisan ay laging nakahandang magbigay ng seguridad upang masiguro ang isang ligtas, maayos, mapayapang eleksyon, at higit na mapanatili ang kredibilidad nito (Our police is always ready to provide security to ensure a safe, orderly, peaceful election and further maintain its credibility)," he added.
To ensure maximum police operations, the EPD reminded all personnel that it strictly implemented the cancellation of all official leaves, except for emergency or sick leave, prior to the election period.
Meanwhile, EPD also said that a liquor ban will be implemented starting Oct. 29 to Oct. 30 to ensure a peaceful election.
