PAGASA said Quezon and Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with rains while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains both due to the "amihan."

PAGASA warned the public in Quezon and Bicol Region for possible flash floods and landslides in high-risk areas during moderate to heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) which was seen 2,000 kilometers east of Mindanao still has a low chance of developing into a tropical cyclone but may enter PAR on Monday, Oct. 30, said PAGASA.

"The said LPA has no direct effect yet on the country, while its trough may affect Visayas on Monday next week," said weather specialist Daniel James Villamil in Filipino.

In Visayas and Mindanao, PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers will be experienced caused by localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA also advised that possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms. (Lizst Torres Abello)
