Undas 2023: Visitors with fever not allowed in Parañaque cemeteries

The Parañaque city government announced on Friday, Oct. 27, that visitors with fever will not be allowed inside the city's cemetery during Undas 2023.
According to Mayor Eric Olivarez, the city government will not allow any person to enter cemeteries with fever, colds, and flu to ensure that other visitors inside will not be affected with their sickness.
He added that other guidelines issued by the city government for implementation include prohibiting visitors to enter cemeteries, who are under the influence of liquor or carrying any intoxicating products; cooking, smoking bringing lighter and gasoline; only matches will be allowed in lighting their candles; bringing illegal drugs, sound system, musical instrument and speaker, bladed weapon and playing cards; and garbage should be thrown in the designated area.
The mayor said Manila Memorial Park will be open to visitors who will visit their departed relatives on Oct. 29-30 from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. On Oct. 31 to Nov. 1, it will be open to visitors for 24 hours.
Olivarez said the Loyola Memorial Park will allow visitors on Oct. 29-30 and Nov. 2 from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., while on Oct. 31-Nov. 1, it will be open for 24 hours.
He added the city’s public cemetery, the Himlayang Palanyag, will be open on Oct. 29-30 from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Oct. 31–Nov. 2, for 24-hours.
Meanwhile, the Parañaque Catholic Cemetery will only be open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Oct. 29-Nov. 2.
