Kris Aquino and Boy Abunda's tearful US reunion

Close friends Kris Aquino and Boy Abunda were reunited recently.

Boy visited Kris in the US where she is undergoing treatment.

Kris updated fans regarding the meeting via social media.

She even shared a clip of them embracing on Instagram.

"Moments I'll cherish," she wrote.

"Seriously, it was a heartwarming reunion," Kris wrote in a separate IG post, featuring photos of her and Boy seemingly having a serious conversation.

According to Kris, Boy was moved to tears during his visit, seeing what she is actually going through.

"Boy freaked because I needed a shot while he was here," Kris noted. "And he really hates needles. Nagkuwento pa lang ako ng pinagdadaanan kong mga treatment at yung at least 18 pieces of vitamins, supplements, as well as medicine to help prevent my migraines and protect my liver because of my chemotherapy and of course my antihistamines. Parang the whole 3 hours Boy was here, he was stopping himself from crying pero bumigay din sya talaga."

She also noted that her meeting with Boy was captured on cam by Batangas vice-governor Mark Leviste using her mobile phone.

Celebrities including Anne Curtis, KC Concepcion and Bianca Gonzales, among others, expressed much delight seeing the two together.

Anne wrote, "Love this ate!"

KC commented, "I love seeing this and you both!"

In the same post, Kris greeted Boy, who is celebrating his birthday on October 29.

"Happy Birthday (Oct 29) to the keeper of all my secrets, the one who assured me that come what may he’ll be there for my sons, and the friend who until now fights my battles with me. To my other brother, I love you completely. #lovelovelove."
