DPWH-Ilocos deploys motorists assistance teams for ‘Undas’


LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-Region 1 (Ilocos) is deploying “Lakbay Alalay” motorist assistance teams to ensure safe travel this All Saints’ Day.

NEED assistance this Undas in the Ilocos Region? The DPWH has deployed motorist asssistance teams to helo you. They are located in various points in this map.  

These personnel from regional and district engineering offices will be deployed from 8 a.m. on October 31 to 5 p.m. on November 2.

They will perform essential maintenance and install visible informative and regulatory warning signs, manage traffic devices, and address road maintenance needs on pavements, bridges, road shoulders, drainages, regravelling, and vegetation control.

They will also maintain smooth traffic flow in the entire region, particularly on roads leading to cemeteries.

The DPWH-Region 1 has coordinated with the Land Transportation Office (LTO), the Philippine National Police (PNP), and local government units to ensure comprehensive support for motorists.

They will operate round-the-clock, providing assistance in both routine and emergency situations.

A team from the Equipment Management Division of the DPWH-Region 1 will be stationed in Barangay Pancian, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte and Barangay Boquig, Bantay, Ilocos Sur.

Other teams will be positioned with DEOs in Barangay Lingsat, San Fernando City, La Union; Barangay Acao, Bauang, La Union; Urdaneta Junction-Dagupan Road, Barangay Tuliao, Santa Barbara, and Maramba Boulevard, this town.

The DPWH-Ilocos Norte First DEO team will be deployed in Barangay 43, Cavit, Laoag City; Barangay Bayog, Burgos, and Barangays Tarrag and Pancian.

A team of the DPWH-Ilocos Norte Second DEO will provide assistance in Barangays San Pablo, San Nicolas, and Santa Cruz, Badoc, and Barangay Buncag, Dingras.

The DPWH-Ilocos Sur First DEO is stationed in Barangay V, Poblacion, Bantay; Barangay Napo in Magsingal, and the DPWH DEO in Bantay.

The DPWH-Ilocos Sur Second DEO is posted in Barangay Quinarayan in Narvacan, Barangay Calaoan-an in Candon City, Cervantes Section of the Tagudin-Cervantes Road, and Manila North Road, Tagudin Section.

The DPWH-La Union First DEO is positioned in Barangay Camilo Osias, Balaoan; Barangay Cacapian and Barangay Ili Sur in San Juan; Barangay Lingsat and Barangay Pagdalagan Norte, San Fernando City, and the DPWH-La Union Second DEO is in Barangay Central East, Bauang; Barangay San Marcos, Agoo, and Barangay Subsub in Rosario.

The DPWH-Pangasinan First DEO is located in Barangay Pandayan in Alaminos City  and the DPWH-Pangasinan Second DEO is in Barangay Longos, San Fabian; Barangay Guibel, San Jacinto, and Barangay Tobuan, Labrador.

The DPWH Pangasinan Third DEO is positioned on the Mangaldan-Manaoag-Binalonan Road in Barangay Limmansangan, in front of the entrance and exit of the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway, section of the Manila North Road in Barangay East Carmen in Rosales, and infront of the Quarantine Area Checkpoint.

The DPWH-Pangasinan Fourth DEO is deployed on the Urdaneta Junction-Dagupan Road, Barangay San Miguel, Calasiao; Barangay Tuliao, Santa Barbara, and Barangay Maningding, Santa Barbara.

With these proactive measures, DPWH-Region 1 aims to make this All Saints’ Day safe and hassle-free for all travelers.
