The Pasay city government received eight recognitions in the Department of Interior and Local Government-National Capital Region (DILG-NCR) Governance Exemplar Awards held at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria in Quezon City on Wednesday, Oct. 25.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the city government was awarded with plaques of recognition for 2021 Child Friendly Local Governance Audit, Manila Bay Clean Up, Rehabilitation and Preservation Program; for receiving 100 percent ratings in 2023 Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children Functionality Audit; active participation in the 2023 Regional Fisheries Compliance Audit; for receiving 100 percent ratings on 2023 Peace and Order Council Performance Audit and 92 percent ratings on Local Legislative Award.
The city government also landed fourth runner-up for Local Legislative Award; received a plaque of recognition for getting 87.50 percent ratings in the Anti Drug Abuse Council Performance Audit for Highly Urbanized City Category.
The mayor said the awards received only showed that all programs implemented by the city government have been benefiting all Pasayenos.
The local chief vowed that more programs will be implemented for the city development.
