Dump truck kills motorcycle rider in QC

An unidentified motorcycle-riding man died after he was run over by a dump truck along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City early Friday morning, Oct. 27.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said the incident happened at around 12:30 a.m.

The victim was travelling along Commonwealth Avenue going to Philcoa when a dump truck driven by Ian Christian Sison, 28, rammed the rear portion of his motorcycle in front of a Shopwise hypermarket in Barangay Holy Spirit.

As the victim fell to the ground, the lower part of his body was run over by the dump truck, killing him.

Responding QCPD operatives arrested the truck driver.

Appropriate charges will be filed against the suspect , police said.
