Jeremy “The Jaguar” Miado has no doubt that he’ll be facing the best version of Lito “Thunder Kid” Adiwang when they meet next month.

It will be a rematch for the ages when they step inside the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium at ONE Fight Night 16: Haggerty vs. Andrade next Saturday, Nov. 4, and Miado knows that he’s up for one of the toughest fights of his career.
Adiwang blew out his knee in their initial match at ONE X in March 2022. But then he proved to be as dangerous as ever when he knocked out Adrian Mattheis in just 23 seconds in his return.
Miado, however, wasn’t surprised.
“Lito is still as strong as he was before,” Miado said.
“He was already a top fighter before that injury, and he’s already shown power in his right hand in the past. He’s always a dangerous fighter, and I’m treating him like one.”
While he praised Adiwang for his improvements despite the injury, Miado is confident that he’s also gotten much better since their last fight.
Since last year, “The Jaguar” has been hellbent on working on his perceived weaknesses while also sharpening his strengths.
“I believe I’ve improved a lot since then. When I was in Thailand, I was working on all my weaknesses – my wrestling, both offense and defense,” he said.
“I also sharpened my striking. We all know that Thais are high-level strikers, so that’s something that I’ve developed since that fight.”
With that in mind, he hopes that these improvements will push him toward a decisive finish against Adiwang. In fact, he expects to put his rival to sleep before the final bell sounds.
“Whoever I’m facing, I’m always looking for that one opening that can finish off my opponent. So yes, whether it be a KO or TKO, that’s what I’ll be looking for,” he said.
