Camille Villar holds Eras Tour viewing party for 100 Taylor Swift fans

House Deputy Speaker and Las Piñas City lone district Rep. Camille Villar recently helped made some 100 Taylor Swift fans' dream come true by holding a viewing party for them at the city's Vista Mall. 

Featured during the viewing party were snippets of the pop star's massively popular Eras Tour. 

Those invited to the meet-up-turned-Taylor Swift song and dancefest were all beneficiaries pf Villar's Las Piñas Youth Scholarship program. 

The attendees were gifted Taylor Swift Eras Tour shirts. Prizes were also given to the best dressed attendees, while gift packs and Samsung tablets were raffled off to the youth scholars. 

Swift had earlier announced that The Eras Tour would be shown worldwide. This is viewed as a godsend by her fans since tickets to her concerts are very difficult to secure. 

Villar launched the Las Piñas Youth Scholarship program when she first joined the House of Representatives in 2019. 

When the Covid-19 pandemic first struck the country in 2020, Villar donated tablets and e-learning kits to the beneficiaries to allow them to participate in the distance or offsite learning mode of their respective learning institutes. 

Aimed at helping less fortunate but deserving teen learners, the scholarship program has already benefited more than 3,500 individuals as of June 2023.
