Lotto outlets in Cebu, Sultan Kudarat yield new millionaires

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Thursday, Oct. 26, said the two winning tickets for the Mega Lotto 6/45 were sold at lotto outlets located in Consolacion, Cebu and Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat.

Both bettors correctly guessed the winning digit combination 04-34-02-28-42-20 with a jackpot of P30,052,036.20 in the Oct. 25 evening draw.

However, PCSO said since the jackpot prize exceeded P10,000, it will be subject to a 20 percent tax deduction under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law.

Moreover, under the Republic Act (RA 1169) or the PCSO Charter, if the jackpot prize remains unclaimed, it will be forfeited and will go to the PCSO Charity Fund.

The Mega Lotto draw is held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
