LIST: Fun and spooky destinations for kids this Halloween season

More than just tricks and treats!


As parents, we want our kids to have a blast during Halloween. Besides getting them spooky costumes and going trick-or-treating, we can also treat them to some musical fun and let them participate in awesome costume contests.

To make this Halloween extra special, we've rounded up the biggest malls and hotels where your whole family, including your furry friend, can have a funtastic time.


The Podium’s Halloween Space Adventure 
Elevate your kids' Halloween celebration at The Podium's Halloween Space Adventure on Oct. 29. To join the event, simply present a single receipt worth 6,000 pesos dated Oct. 13 to 29 from any shop or restaurant at The Podium. Submit the receipt to the concierge located on the ground level.

Each outer space event card is valid for one child and two companions. With the event card, each can enjoy exciting space-themed activities, a pop-up experience, and a space show at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.


CCP’s ‘Tricks and Musical Treats’
If your kiddos love musical treats, bring them to Cultural Center of the Philippines' Tricks and Musical treats: A PPO family concert. This annual Halloween concert aims to introduce young children to orchestral music in a fun and engaging way. With the theme "Giddy-Up to Our Rodeorchestral Ride!," kids will enjoy interactive activities, meet different characters, and learn about the orchestra's families of instruments. Participants are encouraged to come in cowboy-themed costumes, and there will be prizes for the “Best in Costume.” Tickets are priced at 500 pesos, with special discounts and family promo packages available. The Westin Manila’s “𝗙𝗮-𝗕𝗢𝗢-𝗹𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲”
It's not just "kids-tastic" but also "furry-mazing." Dress up your kids and pet dogs in cute costumes and join The Westin Manila for their Halloween lunch celebration and Costume Parade on Oct. 29, 2023. Lunch is served from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m.

For every two adults dining at the Halloween lunch buffet, two complimentary tickets are given for their children to join the Kiddie Costume Soirée in the afternoon, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The afternoon activity includes games, cookie decorating, costume parade, giveaways, and a 5-minute self-portrait shoot for each child at the A Studios booth. Event-only tickets for the Kiddie Costume Soirée are also available at 599 pesos per child.

Pet dogs are invited to the Doggie Costume Paw-ty at the Lobby Lounge veranda from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tickets for the paw-ty are sold at 1,500 pesos each, including food and drinks from the A La Bark and Lobby Lounge menus. SM Supermalls’ Spooktacular Halloween Costume Contest
Join SM's Spooktacular Halloween Costume Contest and win exciting prizes for your kids' spooky outfits. To join, register online and scan the QR code. Upload a photo of the receipt (maximum of 5MB jpeg file) with a minimum purchase of 1,000 pesos from any SM tenant. Valid receipts must be dated within the promo period Oct. 16 to 31.

Fill out the online registration form with your full name, age, address, contact number, and email. Onsite registration is also available at the designated booth until 12 noon on the day of the event. Arrive 10 minutes early at the venue in full costume, with a valid ID, receipt, and email confirmation. Participants provide their own meal and transportation.

Ayala Malls Trinoma’s Halloween Skele-bration
Another exciting prize awaits at Ayala Malls Trinoma's Halloween Skele-bration. To get a Halloween loot bag or a Halloween Skele-bration event pass at Trinoma, simply make a minimum single receipt purchase of 2,500 pesos from any Trinoma merchant (excluding bills payment, bank receipts, Landmark Department Store, and Supermarket) on Oct. 28 to 29, 2023.

Present your receipt/s at the Level 1 Concierge booth near the Activity Center between 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m on Oct. 28 to 29, to redeem your loot bag or event pass. Each customer can redeem a maximum of two receipts per day. For purchases amounting to 2,000 pesos and above, you can redeem one Halloween loot bag per receipt. For purchases amounting to 2,500 pesos and above, you can redeem one event pass plus a Halloween loot bag per receipt.

The pass grants one child and one adult companion access to the Halloween Skele-bration event on Oct. 30. Please note that Trinoma reserves the right to validate receipts, and any defaced, crumpled, tampered, photocopied, or smaller-than-actual-size receipts will not be honored. Event passes are not for resale and are non-refundable.

Eastwood City’s Dollhouse of Horrors
Bond with fam at Eastwood City's Dollhouse of Horrors. This Oct. 28 to 29 the Eastwood City will transform into a Dollhouse of Horrors. Dress up and enjoy a weekend filled with treats, games, and prizes. The whole family can have a frightfully good time with activities like trick or treating, a costume contest, entertaining performances for kids, a movie treat, and much more. The Bellevue Manila’s “Belleboo Cosplay Quest”
Families are invited to bring their little ones to an exhilarating Halloween party taking place on Oct. 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. The event will be held at The Bellevue Manila Grand Ballroom. To attend, simply purchase a ticket by scanning the QR code or visiting their website.


Araneta City’s Sweetly Hollows
Next to the all-in-one party is a Halloween Extravaganza presented by the City of First, Araneta City. The event will take place on Oct. 29 at Gateway Mall 2, Gateway Mall, Ali Mall, and Farmers Plaza.To join the exciting Halloween event at Gateway Mall 2, Quantum Skyview, or Ali Mall on Oct. 29, from 11:00  to 2:00 p.m, present your receipts to claim an event pass and participate in the costume contest. Kids with event passes at Gateway Mall 2 & Ali Mall can enjoy a photo booth, face paint, cotton candy, and a loot bag. At Gateway Mall 1 and Farmers Plaza, enjoy the playground and a loot bag. Receipts worth P2,000 and up receive a maximum of two entrance passes.

The Sweetly Hollows Costume Contest for kids aged 0 to 12 will be held at Gateway Mall 2 and Ali Mall. Theme: "chocolates & candies". Registration cutoff is 3:00 p.m. Participants should come in original, cute, and creative costumes. Contestants can only enter at one mall. Stage presentation is from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
