The Pasay City government announced that Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano remains second in the “Boses ng Bayan”survey conducted by the RP Mission and Development Foundation, Inc. on Sept. 20 to 30.
According to Dr. Paul Martinez, global affairs analyst and executive director of RPMD, the performance rating of Rubiano reached 92 percent from 91 percent in July.
Martinez said the performance evaluation for the mayors were based on seven pivotal criteria: service delivery, financial acumen, economic progress, leadership governance, environmental conservation, social initiatives, and engagement with constituents.
He lauded the mayors of the National Capital Region (NCR) noting their commendable performance in serving their communities.
Martinez said that such dedicated leaders genuinely merit acknowledgment for their unwavering efforts.
Martinez said the top performing mayors in the NCR are Joy Belmonte of Quezon City with 94 percent ratings and Mayor Jeannie Sandoval of Malabon with 93.1 percent.
He said Rubiani shared the second place with John Ray Tiangco of Navotas with 92.7 percent, Along Malapitan of Caloocan with 92.5 percent, and Parañaque Mayor Eric Olivarez with 92.3 percent.
The other NCR mayors -- Vico Sotto of Pasig, Honey Lacuna of Manila, Abigail Binay of Makati landed third; Benjamin Abalos of Mandaluyong, Ruffy Biazon of Muntinlupa and Wes Gatchlian landed forth place; Marcelino Teadoro of Marikina, Lani Cayetano of Taguig in fifth place; Francis Zamora of San Juan City in sixth place; Ike Ponce III of Pateros at top seven; and Las Piñas mayor Imelda Aguilar at top eight.
