Parts of Luzon may still experience cloudy, rainy weather — PAGASA

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration on Wednesday, Oct. 25 said the shear line and the northeast monsoon or "amihan" may still bring rains to parts of Luzon.

PAGASA said Isabela and Aurora will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by shear lineâ€”an area where the cold northeasterly winds and warm easterly winds converge.

The public is warned of possible flash floods or landslides in high-risk areas due to moderate to heavy rains.

Meanwhile, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to amihan, said PAGASA.

It added that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA also advised the public to be wary of the impacts of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. (Lizst Torres Abello)
