Extended rains forecasted for Metro Manila, parts of Luzon over the next three days
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday, Oct. 25 said rains may still be expected in most parts of Luzon including Metro Manila until the weekend.

PAGASA said Mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Northern Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by shear line---an area where the cold northeasterly winds and warm easterly winds converge.
PAGASA advised the public that there may be flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
PAGASA said Batanes and Babuyan Islands will also have skies with rains, while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be felt in Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and the rest of Cagayan Valley due to the northeast monsoon or "amihan."
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA also warned the public of the impact of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. (Lizst Torres Abello)
