Match is at 2 p.m. with the Cool Smashers and the Defenders coming off contrasting fortunes.

Creamline is riding the crest of back-to-back wins including its latest triumph over Cignal, 25-20, 25-20, 25-16, in Batangas City, while Gerflor is still struggling to find its touch after falling to a 0-2 hole following a 25-11, 25-4, 25-23 defeat over Petro Gazz.

All hope is not lost on coach Sammy Acaylar’s stalwarts as the Defenders led by Mary Grace Berte, Menchie Tubiera and Danika Gendrauli expected to double their efforts in facing an intact and deep lineup in the Cool Smashers.

Creamline, for its part, is not letting its guard down with Michele Gumabao and Tots Carlos manning the attack line after combining for 30 points the last time.

Meanwhile, Akari tries to lean on a recent morale-boosting win when it clashes with Farm Fresh at 4 p.m.

Toting a 2-1 card, the Chargers are fresh from a 25-20, 18-25, 25-22, 25-20 triumph over the Chery Tiggo Crossovers last Tuesday, Oct. 24, behind the combined 38-point output of Dindin Manabat and Faith Nisperos.

The Foxies, for their part, aim to end their misfortunes after absorbing their third straight loss in as many games at the expense of the PLDT High Speed Hitters, 25-17, 25-17, 25-20, also on Tuesday.

In the other match, Cignal and Choco Mucho try to improve their respective 1-1 mark when they meet at 6 p.m.
