2 nabbed in Paranaque buy-bust

A 39-year-old man and his niece were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by members of the Parañaque City police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) in the city early morning on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

In the report submitted to Southern Police District (SPD) director, Brig. Gen Mark Pespes, the suspects were identified as alias “Julius,” 39, and alias “Juvilyn,” 25.

The SPD said the suspects were arrested in Barangay Don Bosco, Parañaque City. Confiscated from them were 50 grams of alleged shabu worth P340,000, and the buy-bust money.

The recovered illegal drugs were brought to the SPD Forensic Unit for quantitative and qualitative analysis.

The suspects were immediately detained at the Parañaque police custodial facility and were charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
