SK kagawad, 2 others fall in buy-bust

ANGELES CITY, Pampanga â€“ A Sangguniang Kabataan kagawad or councilor and two others were arrested during a buy-bust operation in a suspected drug den in Barangay Capaya 2 here on Sunday, October 22.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency identified the suspects as Aiko Bernabe, 25, SK kagawad; Elmer M. Mallari, 37; and Abehail M. Dizon, 36.

Seized from them were 15 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P103,500, buy-bust money, drug paraphernalia, and a caliber .38 revolver with two bullets.

The operation was conducted by PDEA-Aurora and Pampanga.

Mallari who was on the PDEA-Philippine National Police watchlist, was the subject of the operation.

Suspects face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
