Seventeen sells 3.28 million copies of 'Seventeenth Heaven' album on first day of release

K-pop group Seventeen scored another milestone when their new album sold more than three million copies on the first day of release. 

Seventeen dropped their 11th mini-album “Seventeenth Heaven” on Oct. 23, which set the record for the most pre-ordered album in K-pop history with more than 5.2 copies.

According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, “Seventeenth Heaven” sold a total of 3,288,017 copies on the first day of release on Oct. 23. 

This placed second in first-day sales on Hanteo Chart. Ranking first is Seventeen’s own album “FML,” which garnered 3,998,017 copies in sales on the first day of release. 

Here are the top 20 albums in first-day sales in K-pop history, according to blog Korean Sales:
