The Parañaque City government is in deep sorrow over the passing of the director of Ospital ng Parañaque (OsPar)-1 on Monday, Oct. 13.

According to the city government, Dr. Jefferson Pagsisihan touched and saved the lives of so many people, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic when he tirelessly helped the city residents affected by the disease.

Pagsisihan led the Mobile Vaccination Program (MVP), a project of former mayor and now congressman for the first district, Rep. Edwin Olivarez.

The doctor's extraordinary selflessness and commitment to helping others, particularly the disadvantaged patients, will always be remembered, the local government said.

It added that Pagsisihan's legacy of kindness and altruism will continue to serve as an inspiration to all patients he had served.

Mayor Eric Olivarez said Pagsisihan, an excellent medical director and a good man, is a great loss for the city of Parañaque.
