Members of the Makati City Police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) recovered more than P2,000,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Pembo, Makati City on Oct. 22, the Southern Police District (SPD) said.
Prior to the confiscation of the illegal drugs, a concerned citizen reported an indiscriminate firing incident along Xyris Street in Barangay Pembo, prompting the police to dispatch a team to the area.
Upon arrival and initial inquiry, an unidentified man, who is a target of a PDEA buy-bust operation, fired his pistol upon realizing that he was transacting with a law enforcer. He then fled together with his three cohorts.
The responding police officers joined the PDEA agents in pursuing the fleeing suspects, but they managed to escaped.
The suspects, howver, left behind their vehicle where the authorities recovered the driver's license of one of the suspects identified as "Queendy", as well as 300 grams of shabu worth P2,040,000.
The police is still conducting a manhunt operation against the four suspects.
