MMDA to deploy 200 personnel to secure motorcade, ceremony for Asian Games medalists

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will be deploying more than 200 of its personnel to manage traffic and assist in the emergency response in all the venues and routes of the grand heroes’ welcome for the 19th Asian Games Medalists at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

In a statement, the MMDA said the move is in response to the request of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) to secure the event and routes as President Marcos will graced the ceremony .

The Philippines secured four gold medals, two silver medals and 12 bronze medals during the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

The MMDA said there will be no road closures for the event.
