A new kind of pickup will be leading the charge for Mitsubishi in one of the most competitive segments in the country. Starting in January 2024, the Triton will be the brand’s contender in the pickup segment.

Bearing a new name, the transition from “Strada” to “Triton” signifies a profound evolution in the brand’s approach to pick-up trucks. The Triton name projects the image of a more advanced and refined pick-up truck, not merely an upgrade but an entirely new experience that enhances the journey of life.  Drawing inspiration from Greek mythology where Triton was the powerful god of the sea, the all-new Triton pick-up also symbolizes a powerful figure with its performance and elegant features.

It also sports Mitsubishi's iconic Dynamic Shield Design to complete the overall look. The new model also possesses a tougher design, longer overall length, and a wider stance, which exudes a dominating presence on the road.

Reimagined interior

The Triton is available in seven color variants including the new colors, Yamabuki Orange, and Blade Silver.

The Triton is powered by a newly developed 2.4-litre bi-turbo diesel engine with ‘two-stage' turbo capable of producing 204-PS of power with a 470-Nm maximum torque. It is now more responsive and more powerful than ever.

Rigorously tested to provide increased strength and reduced overall weight, the improved suspension design with new shock-absorption system ensures excellent comfort even in the harshest terrain.

More cargo space

The new Triton now has larger cargo bed space with dimensions of 2340 (L) x 1580 (W) x 515mm (H) which can fit a Euro palette (120 x 80 cm) crosswise even with bed-liner. It also has a lower bed floor height of 821 mm, making loading and unloading easier and more convenient.

Enhanced safety
