BSKE bet gunned down in Pangasinan

AGUILAR, Pangasinan – A candidate in the barangay elections on October 30 was shot dead in Barangay Bayaoas here on Sunday night, October 22.

Police identified the victim as Arneil Flormata, 41, a candidate for barangay captain of Barangay Bayaoas and an administrative supervisor for a solar services company.

Investigation said Flormata had just attended a campaign sortie and was disembarking from his vehicle when a man appeared and shot him in the head.

The gunman and cohort sped off on board a tricycle.

Flormata was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead.

Police are conducting dragnet and checkpoint operations to apprehend the suspects and surveillance footages are being gathered and reviewed to identify them.
