In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October 2023, companies and various brands are hosting events to raise awareness, educate others about the disease, and provide support to breast cancer patients and survivors.
From fun runs, dances, exhibits, these initiatives bring communities together to make a positive impact during this important month.
Here are some events where you can participate and show your support for breast cancer patients and survivors in Breast Cancer Awareness Month:
Avon’s "Fun Run to Boob Love"

Avon has been vocal and consistent in raising awareness of breast cancer. To express their support against breast cancer, a fundraising event “Fun Run to Boob Love” is set to take place on Oct. 21 at CCP Complex, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City.
The fun run will comprise of both a 3km to 5km run that is fun, uplifting and community-driven to celebrate every woman’s boob love journey. All proceeds from the participants who will join the fun run will be donated to Avon’s long-time partner organization Philippine Cancer Society.

Araneta City teams up with the Kasuso Foundation for breast cancer awareness
With the theme "Let’s Bridge the Breast Cancer Care Gap: Fair and Square," the month-long campaign features various activities. On Oct. 25, 2023, the "Kasuso Against All Odds" photo exhibit opening is set to captivate hearts and minds at Ali Mall. This exhibit celebrates the triumph of the human spirit against the odds of breast cancer. Following this event on the same day, Tupperware's PinkTober will also take place, featuring a PinkTober Party and exciting Raffle Promos. The vibrant atmosphere will be filled with fun product demos and testimonials of how Tupperware has helped many women earn through the company’s products.
Zynchronized Concepts’ "I Can Dance, I Can Serve"
In its 11th year, Zynchronized Concepts, along with its beneficiary ICanServe Foundation Inc., will launch a zumba party “I Can Dance, I Can Serve” on Oct. 27, 5:30 p.m at Isettan Recto. Following that event, another zumba party will be held at Watermart Antipolo on Oct. 28, 2:00 p.m.
