In a Facebook post on Sunday, Oct. 22, the official talked about recently developing a love for plants and has decided to fill her home with greenery.
Because of this, she went to the memorial park in Quezon City to buy some plants since she learned this as a good spot from the blogs that she watched.
I decided to put many plants inside the house to give it a forest vibe),” she wrote.
This doesn’t only beautify, but it also helps in cleaning the air and in producing oxygen),” the official added.
Duterte shared that one of the plants she bought was the snake plant because it’s low-maintenance and can be put inside the bedroom and bathroom.
The Vice President also thanked a friend for giving her “palmera” plants, which reminder her of her Lola Soling’s house which had lots of “palmera” plants in the balcony.
Lola Soling was Soledad Duterte, the official’s grandmother and mother of former president Rodrigo Duterte.
Now, the sala has a forest vibe, and it’s nice to be surrounded by green plants),” she said.
