ELEMENTARY football teams play on the field in Camp Peralta, the headquarters of the 3rd Infantry Division of the Philippine Army in Jamindan, Capiz. (3rd ID)
“The 3rd ID facilitated the conduct of tune-up games both in elementary and high school categories in order to prepare them for the competition,” said Capt. Jenny Kathleen Fragio, president of the Camp Peralta Football Club (CPFC).
Made possible through coordination by the Office of Assistant Division Commander for Reservist and Retiree Affairs (ADCRRA) and participating teams, the tune-up games are preparation for the football competition of the Department of Education District Meet from November 25 to 26.
“The 3rd ID is more than willing to extend any support such as offering our grounds for the practice games,” said Major Gen. Marion Sison, 3rd ID commander.
“Our camp is open to all worthwhile activities that promote peace and general welfare of the public especially on the training and development of our students. Indeed, we are honored and privileged that the 3rd ID is instrumental in molding and inculcating in these kids the values of discipline and competitive spirit through sports which will serve as their weapons to overcome the challenges later on with their life,” added Sison.
