Authorities assure Catherine Camilon still alive

Missing Batangueña beauty queen Catherine Camilon is still alive.

This was disclosed by Brigadier General Paul Kenneth Lucas, Calabarzon police chief, in an interview with "Ano Sa Palagay N'yo?", Oct. 20.

He also vowed to bring Catherine home safe.

“We are committing na si Catherine… we’ll bring home Catherine safe,” he said.

Lucas pointed to existing CCTV footage of Catherine as additional "lead" to the ongoing investigation.

“Kagabi meron na silang lead kung saan yung huling napuntahan at nakita itong si Catherine aside don sa mall diyan sa Batangas.”

Lucas didn't offer other details but was quick to assure "We are very confident na itong si Miss Catherine, e, buhay pa.”

Catherine has been missing since Oct. 12.

Her family is still hoping that she will resurface and soon.

Fellow beauty queen Herlene Budol has urged fans to help authorities in tracking her whereabouts.

Catherine, 26, like Herlene was a candidate at this year's Miss Grand Philippines.
