Parañaque LGU holds 'Koop Pangkalusugan' medical mission

Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez and his brother, Rep. Edwin Olivarez, conducted a medical mission as part of the celebration of the Consumers Welfare Month on Friday, Oct. 20.
The “Koop Pangkalusugan” program was held at the San Dionisio Credit Cooperative multi-purpose hall in Barangay San Dionisio.
The mayor said the medical mission was organized by the Parañaque Cooperative Development Office under Josephine Salomon, Parañaque Cooperative Development Council, and San Dionisio Credit Cooperative.
Olivarez said the Ospital ng Parañaque (OsPar)-1 under hospital director Dr. Jefferson Pagsisihan also joined in the program in giving free medical services such as medical checkup, ultrasound and electrocardiogram procedures, eye checkup; distribution of free medicines, and vitamins and reading glasses.
Mayor Eric said the PhilHealth and the Malasakit Center One-Stop-Shop also joined in the program while the San Dionisio Credit Cooperative conducted an orientation on how to be a member of the cooperative and earn extra income.
