The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical Astronomical and Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday, Oct. 22 said rainy weather conditions will persist ina huge part of Luzon due to the northeast monsoon or "amihan" and shear line.

In Metro Manila, Camarines Norte, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezo,n, and Central Luzon, PAGASA said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be felt due to the shear line an area where cold northeasterly winds and warm easterly winds converge.
PAGASA said flash floods and landslides may occur in high-risk areas during severe thunderstorms.
Cloudy skies with rains will also prevail in Kalinga, Apaya,o and Cagayan Valley due to the northeast monsoon or "amihan," said PAGASA.
Meanwhile, cloudy skies with light rains will be experienced in the Ilocos Region and the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) also due to amihan.
PAGASA said the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
The public is also warned of flash floods and landslides in high-risk areas due to moderate to heavy rains. (Lizst Torres Abello)
