10 hurt in SUV-jeepney collision in Isabela

CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela – Ten persons were injured in a collision between a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and a passenger jeepney in Barangay San Antonino, Burgos, Isabela on Saturday, October 21.

Police Major Jonathan Ramos, Burgos chief of police, said the SUV bound for Roxas, Isabela overtook and accidentally hit the jeepney.

Due to the impact, the jeepney crashed into a roadside fried chicken stall.

Ten individuals from the jeepney and SUV were injured and treated after the accident.

Ramos reminded drivers and motorists to drive safely and observe traffic  before overtaking a vehicle.
